The PrizeBox Promise
Collectibles made with creators, built with transparency.
At PrizeBox, we believe collecting should be exciting, not stressful.
When you preorder a creator figure, you're placing your trust in us to turn an idea into something real. That's a responsibility we take seriously.
That's why we've built the PrizeBox Promise, a guide around a few simple principles: transparency, responsible production, clear communication, and respect for our collectors.
1. Clear Preorder Goals
Every limited-edition creator figure has a defined preorder period and production minimum of 100.
Before placing your order, you'll know:
* How long the preorder campaign will run
* The minimum number of orders required for production
* The expected production process
* That production is dependent on reaching the required minimum
We don't want you to have to guess what happens after you place an order.
2. What Happens If We Don't Reach the Minimum?
Sometimes a project doesn't receive enough interest to make production financially viable.
If a PrizeBox figure does not reach its required production minimum, the project may be canceled, and all preorder customers will receive a full refund.
We would rather cancel a project than leave customers waiting indefinitely for a product that we cannot responsibly produce.
Your money shouldn't be tied up in an uncertain project.
3. Your Money Is for Your Order
We treat preorder commitments seriously.
Our goal is to ensure that each creator project is financially sustainable on its own. We don't want a project to depend on future sales or unrelated releases to fulfill existing orders.
This helps us make responsible production decisions and protect the long-term health of PrizeBox.
4. No Endless Preorders
A preorder campaign should have a clear beginning and end.
If a project doesn't reach its minimum during the stated preorder period, we may provide a clearly communicated extension when appropriate.
However, we will not leave a preorder open indefinitely without communicating with customers or the creator.
If the project ultimately cannot proceed, customers will be notified, and refunds will be issued.
5. Honest Production Updates
Once a figure enters production, we'll keep the creator informed about major milestones.
Depending on the project, updates may include:
Design → Prototype → Manufacturing → Painting → Quality Control → Packaging → Shipping
Manufacturing can take time, and unexpected delays can happen. If something significantly affects the expected timeline, we'll do our best to communicate that rather than leave customers wondering what is happening with their order.
6. Quality Over Cutting Corners
We don't want to manufacture a figure simply because we promised to.
If production presents an issue that could significantly compromise the quality of the final collectible, we'll work with our manufacturing partners to find a responsible solution.
Our goal is to deliver something that both the creator and their fans can be proud to own.
7. Creators Are Partners
PrizeBox is not a creator merch company, but a collectible company.
We're working with creators to turn their characters, artwork, and ideas into physical collectibles.
We believe creators deserve:
Clear agreements
Transparent royalty calculations
Accurate sales reporting
Respect for their intellectual property
A genuine voice in the creative process
Protection against counterfeits
Our creator partnerships are built around collaboration on creating something special for their fans, a piece made by masters in figurine making, not simply putting a creator's name on a product.
8. Collectors Come First
Behind every preorder is a real person who chose to support a creator and believe in a project.
We will always strive to:
Clearly communicate preorder terms
Provide accurate product information
Protect customer payment information
Process eligible refunds promptly
Provide customer support when questions arise
We may not be able to make every project happen, but we can always be honest about where things stand.
Our Commitment
PrizeBox is growing, and we're learning with every project.
Some figures will become huge successes.
Others may not reach the demand needed for production.
What matters is how we handle both.
We would rather be transparent about a project not working out than make promises we cannot responsibly keep.
That's the PrizeBox Promise.
Thank you for trusting us.
Whether you're a collector, creator, artist, or simply someone who believes in what we're building, we're grateful to have you here.
